This Novice Handicap Chase looks a little trappy with EASBY MANDARIN looking marginally the best ahead of Aldiruos and Knighton Combe. The selection hasm a competitive mark having performed well off a rating two pounds lighter on his last two starts. The form from those is on the weak side but he receives plenty of weight from his main rivals and should take advantage. Aldiruos is other who looks good off his current mark but only if he can transfer his hurdles form to the bigger obstacles. He comes into this running off the same rating that he last carried to victory over timber and this trip should assure a good jumping performance. Based of his hunter chase form Knighton Combe isn't weighted out of things but he has more to do now in this company while Honour's Dream concedes weight all around and was well beaten last time out. None of these really jump off the page as an obvious choice with Easby Mandarin just landing our vote.
