In depth

Verdict

Few make any appeal on recent form and Delface returned a losing favourite at Leicester last time having earlier gone close at Hereford. But BESTIARIUS went close over hurdles at Newcastle on his return to action and first outing after wind surgery and the half-brother to smart chaser Night In Milan gets a speculative vote to make a winning start over fences. Destined To Shine has won off today’s mark over timber but has struggled over fences so far along with Haldon Hill.
