A bumper winner in Ireland when trained by Joseph O’Brien, BABOIN faded badly over timber at Lingfield on his debut for new connections. But that was his first start since last summer and much better is expected today given he’s weighted to beat Initiative. The latter went close on faster ground at Taunton back in November and the winner has gone in again since while Click And Collect finished closer at Market Rasen last time without threatening. Clondaw Promise and Alfsboy failed to complete last time and both drop down in trip for this.
