In depth

Verdict

Echo Watt made a promising start over fences with a second at Lingfield though has something to prove over this far judged on earlier attempts over hurdles. TIMCODA (NAP) was also placed over 2m4f at Lingfield last month but Jamie Snowden’s charge was beaten less than a length over course and distance back in October and he gets the vote on that form. Sigurd ran well again at Wetherby last time having scored at the same track before that and is preferred to Misty Mai and Big Meadow while the veteran General Girling returned from a lengthy lay-off to place at Chepstow on his first outing for a new yard.
