A few familiar names and faces can be led home by Majlis, who already holds Mantles Prince on this season's form, so may have the most to fear from the unexposed Soviet Joy, who can only benefit from what will be only his second start under rules. The four-year-old showed plenty of promise when chasing home a typically well-placed Martin Pipe-trained runner at Leicester and, with improvement anticipated, he can play a leading role again here. Tensile was useful on his day when with Phillip Hobbs, so is worth monitoring in the betting market, while Talarive has claims over this trip but is hard to win with, so is left alone for win only purposes today. Which brings us back to Majlis, who, having already paid his way this season, has fewer questions to answer than most of the rest and is the one they will all have to get past if this goes to form.
