Trainer John Mackie has his small team of horses in fine fettle at present and All THREE FABLES can add to his winning tally in the finale at the expense of Lily Tara and More Equity. The selection was good enough to win a bumper and has already won a handicap off a mark of 95 back in May. She caught the eye when finishing a good second to Whats Up Bob over course and distance last time out. Now that she is able to race against her own sex and run off the same mark she is sure to go close if reproducing the same level of form. Lily Tara ran well to finish a decent second to Longdale at Hexham last time out. She was good enough to win back to back races last season but has jumped up the weights as a consequence. She is three pounds higher in the weights since her last outing and has the burden of top weight to carry but if at her best she is sure to be in contention come the business end of the race. More Equity is eight pounds higher in the weights since winning at Hexham last time out. She is still relatively unexposed and is open to further improvement so any moves in the market should be noted, but for the winner we return to All Three Fables.
