Verdict

A winning pointer with decent bumper form last season, Brief Ambition hails from a yard still firing in the winners and he should make a hurdler. Do Your Job’s second at Newbury in February is the best hurdles form on offer but his long-term future lies over fences. ONE TRUE KING finished ahead of Brief Ambition in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham in March and he was probably in need of the run when only third at Stratford on his hurdles bow. He’ll know more today and gets another chance. Above Suspicion could be one to follow when he gains experience.
