Verdict

A further 8lb rise could bring the curtain down on Yes No Maybe So’s winning run with several of her rivals looking better treated. Aimee De Sivola was third in a Listed race over this trip when last seen but she has a poor strike-rate. Bailarico is fit from the Flat but the lightly-raced Manning Estate is more interesting as he was a convincing winner at Doncaster when last seen. Debestyman is worth a market check while Dagueneau followed up a victory at Stratford in the summer with a second over this course and distance in August. SIROBBIE has a terrific record here and is back over hurdles after failing to take to fences. He’s race-fit and should be in the firing-line.
