A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights, but the principals look to be Majaales, Overserved and Major Malarkey and the narrow vote is given to Overserved. The selection won in facile fashion last time out when beating Gansey with plenty in hand, and although higher in the weights he again has conditions to suit and he is taken to defy the handicapper. Majaales rates the main danger as he also won last time out when beating Lidop. He will appreciate the return to this longer trip and will not be far away. Major Malrkey is another that could go well as he beat Lilly Tara last time. However, although he has won over this distance, his best form on the figures have come over a longer trip. Sovereign King is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he has had plenty of chances off similar marks of late without taking one and he again looks vulnerable. Of the remainder, Valiant Shadow hails from a shrewd yard and is worth a cautionary look in the market, but for the winner we are happy to return to Overserved who won so well last time out.
