    Verdict

Disappointingly just the five runners line up for the opener on the card and with The Babe Magnet and Paint The Lily making little appeal the finish should involve the other three, with the vote going to Oscar Honey over Scarvagh Diamond and Autograph. The last mentioned has shown gradual improvement of late and Sue Smith's mare has already shown a liking for chasing so has to be respected. The Nicky Richards-trained Scarvagh Diamond was highly tried at Newbury last time and may be better judged by her decent efforts prior to that effort. She rates the main danger to Jessica Harrington's Oscar Honey, who will relish the underfoot conditions, is less exposed than most of these and he is taken to open his account in the UK today.
