Oden beat American Hustle, Epic Dream and Old Man Tyme at Vaal in November but was a couple of lengths behind Captain Courteous over 7f at the same track last month. BATTLEOFTRAFALGAR ran in a couple of competitive sprints at Kenilworth after landing the odds in a maiden here in November. Gelded since last in action, Mike De Kock’s three-year-old has the scope to be better than the majority of these but will have to overcome a wide draw. Pidgeon Rock has fared better with his starting berth but will have to reverse recent form with a couple of these.
