Coolagh Park hadn't shown much before a better effort behind the long odds-on Energumene at Gowran though he was beaten 19 lengths. Farmix, runner-up over 2m4f here in January, was heavily supported on a return visit over this trip but found Groody Rover too strong. Florrie Webb would have scored between the flags but for falling but looked as though a longer trip was required when placed at Cork last summer. REBEL GOLD has gradually improved with racing and looked like winning at Wexford a week ago only to be caught at the last. He loves the conditions and gets the nod with the mare Satin Sun possibly best of the remainder after an encouraging debut at Thurles.
