        Verdict

        Exultant was runner-up in a work-riders’ maiden at Vaal at the start of the month but the form probably doesn’t amount to much. Chasing Green ran only three times last year and was placed twice. She’s not been seen since May but it will be a surprise if Weiho Marwing can’t find some improvement in the daughter of Gimmethegreenlight this season. CAERPHILLY has to be the selection, however, after going close over this trip at Vaal on her latest outing. That was a big step up on previous efforts at that track. Western Vision makes a quick reappearance after finishing a close second here on Saturday but may find one too good again.
