Quench The Flame was a decent handicapper in 2010 and was having his first start since October of that year when running reasonably well over a trip much too short at the Galway Festival. That will have done him good and he's an obvious threat if anywhere near his best. Beliar won this a year ago but the ground was very fast on that occasion and couldn't be more different this time. Ollon landed a seller at Ripon for Elaine Burke in May and has new connections though he's never raced on ground this testing over tonight's trip. MIGHTY WHITEY was beaten 9l into third in a Galway handicap but the front pair were in tremendous form and this is a big drop in grade. He had Table Forty Six behind and he's better off at the weights so should have no problems confirming the form and taking this though prospective punters will need to forgive a poor run at Ballinrobe on Monday.
