This looks an interesting maiden as a few of these have the potential to go on to better things. Brave Youmzain was sent off favourite when third at Salisbury following a promising debut at Newmarket and Emell was odds-on at Brighton last week, though found Noble Bull half-a-length too good. Bartack will improve on his debut fourth behind the well-regarded Rocky Ground at Yarmouth and Hoarding was third at Newmarket in June before finding the company too hot at Goodwood. COUR VALANT ran a really nice race on his introduction at York and is probably the one to beat, however, with newcomer Double Your Money likely to come into his own over longer trips later in the year.
