        Verdict

        HOWYADOINGNOTSOBAD scored twice over C&D earlier this year. He's shown further progress since then without winning and a repeat of his latest third at Newbury should be good enough in this lesser company. Muhdiq is another dropped in class and the headstrong colt should figure trying the minimum trip for the first time but this is tougher than the recent races won at Wolverhampton by Jack Smudge and Avonvalley. Liberal Lady is usually thereabouts without looking like winning.
