Cooldine Boy may have most to fear from Kilcrea Ash here although Alfred's Tower has to be of interest on debut for Paul Nicholls. Phillip Hobbs' runner pulled up on his chase debut in an Exeter handicap but he proved that running to be all wrong when only narrowly losing out over course and distance last time. The drop to maiden company should enable him to score. Few of these have shown any worthwhile form and that includes Alfred's Tower but it would be no surprise to see Paul Nicholls bring about a little improvement. Kilcrea Ash ran the odd decent race over hurdles in Ireland and was made favourite for his chase debut for his new yard earlier this month. He was well beaten and will need to improve. Stranger things have happened but Cooldine Boy is hard to oppose.
