Verdict

Martin Keighley won this last year so the newcomer Morning Herald should be respected with her allowances. Kalifourchon started a short-priced favourite on his debut over this trip at Exeter and attempted to make all but could only stay on at one pace when headed. Dalaman stayed on strongly to go past him in the closing stages and there doesn't appear any reason for a form reversal. Mon Petite Ange is the first foal of a winning bumper and like Poetic Justice the market should tell us more about their chances. FLOWER POWER was a 40/1 chance when making her debut over the track and trip earlier this month but belied her odds with a fine performance and, with further improvement likely and her fillies' allowance, she can take this for Tony Coyle.
