MONBEG THEATRE was always travelling well at the head of affairs at Southwell and had few problems gaining his first success over timber at the second time of asking. He can go in again as chief rival Delgany Demon, a bumper winner on heavy ground here in December, hasn't run since well beaten on his hurdling debut in a better race at Ascot the following month. Urban Storm was making his debut under Rules when runner-up to the long odds-on Come On Laurie here three weeks ago and will improve while Kincora Fort showed plenty of promise in bumpers though is likely to do better when tackling fences.
