This is not the greatest of races but we will give the tentative vote to Wantage Road with Royal Kicks and Soleil Fix both worth noting in the betting market. The selection comes from an in form yard and although he is yet to set the world on fire in his races he has enough form up his sleeve to win a race of this calibre. He ran well on good fast ground during the summer months and connections will be keen for him to break his maiden tag this summer before too long. This might be his opportunity as he jumps well on the whole and has enough pace and stamina for this undulating track. Royal Kicks will pose as the biggest danger. His form again is not great but he is still lightly raced and has shown over the winter that he does have some ability and as a result he has to be treated with respect in such a bad race. Soleil Fix was good enough to win over hurdles and ran well to finish third at Stratford behind Why Connie last time out. As a result of his form he does have the burden of top weight to carry but he will still have his supporters in abundance. But for the winner we will give the tentative nod to Wantage Road.
