Sir Billy Nick can take this race at the expense of Yaddree and Always Ready. The selection won in the style of a decent horse at Lingfield and had been backed accordingly during morning trading. A mark of 76 is hardly over generous but if he can maintain nominal progression, he can be up to defying the assessors take. Yaddree won a decent maiden by Brighton standards. He shaped as if possessing some ability in three previous starts and must have shown something in order to remain in connections' plans. Always Ready has first time blinkers on this afternoon. Although he has had plenty of chances, his yard are in decent enough nick. Irish Mayhem is very much bred in the blue but success has evaded him so far. This race represents an obvious drop in class. Flight To Quality is very typical of the stock his trainer carries and he is likely to try and dictate matters. Seattle Storm has ability but will need to be settled early. A good contest and Sir Billy Nick is our selection.
