Almah looks to have an obvious chance on the evidence of her second at Fontwell last month and is taken to go one better at the main expense of Heckley Clare Glen and Indian Squaw. The last mentioned has shown promise in two starts in bumpers but, along with Charlie Mann's Heckley Clare Glen, lacks the hurdling experience of the selection. Pam Sly has her string in good form at present but Bonnet's Pieces needs to improve dramatically on her form to trouble the judge and of more interest may be Go Classic, who ran in a better race than this on her hurdling debut. The Venetia Williams-trained Almah sets a decent standard though and will be tough to beat.
