This is a decidedly moderate affair, and it would be no surprise to see Sir Cumference return to the track with a win; Isou could be the main danger, with Autumn Mist and Don't Tell JR others to consider. Autumn Mist was a winner of a modest handicap at Plumpton earlier in the month but has since been soundly thrashed at Hereford and might struggle under his penalty. Don't Tell JR has been running quite well of late, but that has been around Fakenham's tight turns and whether he can reproduce that form on this entirely different course is another matter. Isou ran well at Hereford a couple of starts ago, but was also well beaten last time and it may be worth taking a chance on Venetia Williams' Sir Cumference. The eight-year-old has been off the course for over thirteen months but had previously looked a progressive sort when winning at Ludlow and Stratford, and if he can get back to anything like that form he would be hard to beat here.
