Lady Zephyr can beat the other penalised runner Shining Lights, with newcomer Pennys Forever one to note on her debut. Lady Zephyr stepped up on her introduction when scoring by a distance at Fakenham recently. It is debatable whether she beat anything of note, but she has the experience. Shining Lights created a big impression when hacking up at Gowran Park three weeks ago, having won a point-to-point earlier. David Johnson's moles alerted him and she now has a bright future with Martin Pipe. There should be little between the two principals and they should dominate proceedings. Of the rest, Pennys Forever is interesting as she hails from a yard that does well in this sphere. Her time will come but in what looks a toss-up, Lady Zephyr gets the vote.
