Arctic Spirit gets a tentative vote over Eviyrn, with Sailor A' Hoy and Impero in with a shout as well. Although successful over fences in the past, Arctic Spirit has struggled a bit of late and the switch back to the smaller obstacles may pay dividends soon as he is much better treated, being around 20lbs lower. He made a bold bid to make all here last time and a similar effort now can pay off, with his pilot taking off a valuable 10lbs. Eviyrn's jockey can also make the most of the same amount, and he has shown enough in limited starts to warrant a mention. Sailor A' Hoy and Impero are long-standing maidens, but the latter will at least not mind the ground. Naked Oat may be capable of running into a place, but is not one to enthuse about either, and in an uninspiring event, Arctic Spirit is the pick.
