Verdict
A bumper rounds off the card and as usual in these types of events the market will be very informative but the principals look to be Mole's Chamber, Bally Conn and Grandpops Joy and the narrow vote is given to Mole's Chamber. The selection was a fair second on his debut behind Star Award and is sure to have learnt from the experiance. Given nominal improvement under similar conditions here he will be hard to beat. Bally Conn rates the main danger as he is a point-to-point winner who hails from a yard that does well in this sphere and he should be closely watched in the market but the feeling is he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip. Grandpops Joy was a fair third behind Bebedash last time but he looked a short-runner on that occasion and with this in mind this stiff track looks against him. Of the remainder, Cromwell Court is an Overbury gelding out of 1m1f winner Slip A Coin and is worth a cautionary look in the market but for the winner we return to Mole's Chamber who sets a fair standard and looks sure to improve.
