A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Apple Joe, Riders Revenge and Tradingup and the tentative nomination is given to Riders Revenge. The selection was a fair third behind Jam Packed last time out. That form has since been franked and with the step up in trip in his favour and his yard in top form he looks the value bet in an open affair. Apple Joe rates the main danger as he won well last time when beating Tank Buster but this looks more competitive and he looks vulnerable under his penalty. Tradingup is another that could go well on his latest third behind Frosty Jak but he is often let down by his jumping and he looks opposable on that basis. Waterberg is thrown in on his best form but he has shown very little of late so can not be put forward with any confidence. Supremely Red would have place prospects on his best form but consistency is not his strong suit and for the winner we return to Riders Revenge to small stakes.
