Glen Thyne is taken to win this at his favourite track at the expense of Borehill Joker and Yassas. The selection has won his last two races here most latterly at the end of last month when getting the better of Mokam by eight lengths. He has been put up ten pounds by the handicapper but this fast improving six year old favours the track and is therefore worth siding with once more. His biggest rival will be the McCoy ridden Borehill Joker who came back to winning ways over hurdles over course and distance last time out. He was winning off a mark of eighty two so is officially at least eight pounds better off here over the larger obstacles but has not won over fences for eighteen months so is to be treated with caution. Yassas did win a couple last season and has won around here albeit over slightly longer but his form has petered out of late so for the winner we return to Glen Thyne.
