Verdict

A return to a more testing track will suit LOVE OF TARA who is preferred to Genies Lamp and Carolina Lady in what looks a race sure to throw up future winners. Martin Keighley is having a grand season so far (despite the injury to stable star Benbane Head) and this mare is a horse of some potential. She won well at Exeter in October when facing a test of stamina for the first time and whilst she has a penalty for that win, the feeling is that she is open to more improvement. Her latest run at Plumpton was a decent effort in a race that wouldn't have really suited and this track looks ideal for her. Anadama was fifth in that Plumpton race which wasn't a bad effort at all considering most of the yards horses are needing the run. Her bumper run behind Alegralil is strong and she looks a player. As does Caroline Lady, a former winning point-to-pointer who needs respect on this reappearance, along with Genies Lamp who ran extremely well behind Alegralil over hurdles here last time out (Keltic Cliche in fourth, Home She Goes in seventh) and must be respected. Gentle Caribou is proven on a soft surface and should come on for a recent Lingfield outing, Cuckoo Lane ran well at Exeter last time out and is considered, along with Sherry Darling who is expected to improve now encountering hurdles. A fascinating contest, in which the nod is given to Love Of Tara.
