Pigeon Island, Investment Wings and Norman Beckett look the three to concentrate on in this novices hurdle and the narrow vote is given to Pigeon Island. The selection was a fair second behind Deep Purple last time out, the drop in trip looks sure to suit and with his yard in form he looks a value bet. Investment Wings rates the main danger on his latest second behind Super Sensation. That form looks rock solid but his best form is on a faster surface and he is taken on with this in mind. Norman Beckett is another that could go well on his latest second behind Enthusius but this looks more competitive and the suspicion is he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip in time. Hear Me Out is from a yard in top form and he should be watched in the market but he may just need the run after a 149 day break. Of the remainder Tempting Paradise will be handicapped after this run and that is were his future may lie but in a race where the market will be informative for the winner we return to Pidgeon Island who has plenty of ticks in the right boxes.
