Pinkie Brown made a successful debut over fences on this track and trip early last month before falling early at Cheltenham. He had virtually a solo round at Warwick when his only rival fell and will make a bold bid to remain unbeaten in completed starts. Bowie, twice a winner over timber, was returning from a year's absence when pulling up at Uttoxeter and is likely to need another run and a longer trip. FOREST BIHAN won over hurdles in France and has been competing at a higher level for Brian Ellison. He's only five and makes his chasing bow but is just the type his trainer does so well with and he's taken to make a successful start. Porters Lane has shown nothing but Zarib had some very smart form over hurdles, including when placed in a Grade 2 handicap at Wincanton, so he's an obvious threat on his chasing debut.
