Miller's Maverick won over fences at Fontwell in May but, though reverting to hurdles on a lower mark, has never reached a place in nine starts over the smaller obstacles. Fled Or Pled went up 8lb for landing a novices' handicap on very fast ground over slightly shorter here last month but was well beaten when tackling this trip at Bangor. Lunar Flow hadn't shown much before scoring at Exeter in March where he appeared suited by the soft ground. He's probably capable of further progress though the long absence and quicker going looks against him. DOUBLE COURT had being going well on this sort of ground all summer before scoring at Newton Abbot. He was racing in slightly better company when runner-up at Perth last time and can get back to winning ways. Song Of The Night would probably win this if getting round without mishaps but that appears unlikely after blundering his way around here a month ago.
