In depth

Verdict

Angus Glens bounced back to form in no uncertain terms at Warwick on Friday but he has a 7lb penalty to contend with. Horseguardsparade has been racing over much further and may not have the pace for this while Irish import Tajseer was beaten in a seller in October. Peruvien Bleu has been finding little at the business end while Irish Hawke was beaten a long way at Bangor in September after scoring there a month earlier. TOBACCO ROAD showed a bit more dash on that latter track last time and makes his handicap debut so gets the vote in a very moderate contest. Londonia won a Class 5 handicap at Ffos Las in June and this isn't much better so should get into the action.
