BARDENSTOWN LAD showed the benefit of his opening run by beating a big field at Lingstown in November, form that suggests he can make a successful start under Rules. Clay Rogers was beaten in a hurdle than a bumper before a much improved run at Punchestown earlier this month and that puts him right in the picture for this. Imminent Arrival is out of a winning bumper and Derek O'Connor has been booked while Mahon Point and Prospered are from top point-to-point yards with the latter, owned by Trevor Hemmings, looking interesting as his pedigree is all about Flat winners in the USA.
