In depth

Verdict

A very strong entry in which Dalvey is capable of a big run from this mark after his consistent form at Dundalk. SAFECRACKER, runner-up in a premier handicap at the Curragh in September and another strong race at Leopardstown a month later, should be winning races this season and may start today while Newfoundland, a winner at Navan for Aidan O'Brien, has joined Joseph and can make progress. Burren Song did well to score over 1m2f at Dundalk as he's better over further and Chally Chute was very progressive last season, though is 12lb higher than when completing a hat-trick at Galway.
