      Verdict

Global Spirit and Sandret will both strip fitter for a run at Newcastle and Cisco Disco ended the last season in good form. The latter’s stablemate Sir Maxi won at Beverley last summer but may find today’s going too testing. Tothenines is race-fit but COSMOS RAJ is having a first start since October. However, Taylor Fisher’s mount won over a mile off this mark at Ayr a year ago and should have today’s race run to suit. Frog And Toad has also been given a chance by the handicapper.
