On to the hurdles track now for what should prove a cracking contest though Flatfoot Boogie could be an absentee as he was engaged to run at Cork last night. Draycott Place had been mixing it with the best before landing a maiden and a novice hurdle but will need to go up another gear as will Little King Robin, who will enjoy the fast conditions. Lucky William proved himself a high-class chasing prospect when landing the Grade 1 Ryanair Novice Chase at Punchestown but that was over two years ago on heavy ground. Darwins Fox had Sailors Warn 4l behind at Killarney in May and there doesn't appear any reason for a turnaround but it's SIMENON who gets the nod as though it's over two years since he completed a double at Royal Ascot Willie Mullins' globe-trotter has competed at a very high level and will no doubt be aimed at the Melbourne Cup again where he finished a superb fourth last year.
Draycott Place (IRE) 5-2 (11-10) Led, joined into straight, headed 2 out, rallied well to lead again before last, stayed on well run-in, won at Limerick 2m 3f nh nov hdl in May beating The Plan Man (11-2) by 2l, 4 ran.

Darwins Fox (FR) 7-4 (11-0) Raced in 2nd, challenged under pressure from before 2 out where left in lead, soon clear, stayed on well run-in, comfortably, won at Killarney 2m 4f hdl in May beating Sailors Warn (11-6) by 4l, 6 ran.
Little King Robin (IRE) 5-4fav (11-7) Made all, reduced lead from after 5th, pressed and jumped left 3 out, asserted 2 out, soon clear, stayed on well, easily, won at Down Royal 2m hdl gf in Jun beating Ningbo Express (10-4) by 4 1/2l, 4 ran.
