Several of these arrive in top form including Oor Jock, who halted a losing run going back to 2010 with a victory over 6f at Naas on Wednesday. He's still on a fair mark despite a penalty and the extra furlong is no concern. The three-year-old Northern Surprise is up 6lb for beating Tom Dooley at Sligo in May and he's never faced fast ground but Eljowzah will love the conditions and will be supported to follow-up his recent success at Fairyhouse. However, he was behind FLEET CAPTAIN when they occupied the first two places at Dundalk in November and the winner, who has continued to perform with credit, is actually lower in the weights so is taken to regain the winning thread. Three Bells went up a massive 11lb for his Sligo victory and couldn't cope over a mile at Bellewstown. The filly Empress Toorah led for a long way over a mile at Naas on Wednesday and is at the right end of the weights to make her presence felt.
