        Verdict

        Polar Explorer won nicely over the C&D in April but that form hasn't worked out well and he's 9lbs higher. Mt Weather is nicely handicapped these days and ran well at Naas on his penultimate start but Rum Raisin needs further than this and Fairy Flow finished last behind Airspace in a big field at the Curragh last time. FLASH MCGAHON did very well to finish fourth in that latter event and had performed with credit on his two previous starts there. This represents a drop in class for John Oxx' charge who can defy his big weight. Pimlico Sound had a rare off day when a short-priced favourite at Bellewstown and is better judged on his earlier success from Fairy Flow at Down Royal.
