In depth

Verdict

Three of these were beaten favourites last time including Grand Caruso, who was disqualified from third place at Bellewstown last week and shouldn't beat runner-up Ibelieveinmiracles on that form. The latter is still a maiden after 13 starts, a sequence that may continue as NIDIAN looks the one to be on. Michael Halford's charge owes his supporters big-time after a shocking performance at Naas but he's much better than that as emphasised by a very promising reappearance behind Arcadian Dream at the Curragh when he finished just in front of Celerina, who looks the main threat. Flyjack has disappointed since a fair effort behind Frontier Cabin over the C&D in April.
