Verdict
Initiation is still a maiden after a dozen starts and deserves a break from the handicapper. Slapper has been on the go since the second day of the year but shows no sign of wear and tear and ran very well behind Solent Ridge at Sligo last time. Prince Of Fashion was handed a little race at Down Royal in the stewards' room but it was a bunch finish and the form may not amount to much. The veteran IF PARADISE was in tremendous form at this time a year ago and suffered in the handicap as a consequence. He's been steadily coming down the weights this year and produced his best effort for a while at Limerick last month which suggests he is ready to score again.
