A low-grade handicap with few in form though Angel Palanas showed improvement to score at Listowel and the runner-up went one better a couple of days later when he had STARTING MONDAY back in third. The latter missed the break before staying on nicely and as that was only his fifth start he can progress enough to get off the mark. Fugacious is 0-17 and ran poorly at the Curragh last time but Gold Allure makes her handicap debut after staying on strongly over 6f at the Curragh and looks a major threat. Hell Left Loose won three of his four starts before getting no sort of run on his hat-trick attempt at Listowel so that run should be ignored.
