In depth

Verdict

Aidan O' Brien (4) and Ger Lyons (3) have won the last seven between them and the former can go further ahead with ONTARIO. Narrowly beaten in Group 2's at The Curragh and Newmarket since landing a Galway maiden, he has plenty in hand on official ratings. To Glory represents Lyons but he was 8 lengths behind the selection in that event at the Curragh though possibly wasn't at his best. Vafortino has won a couple of minor races but his best run was when sixth in a Leopardstown Group 3 while Cosmic Vega meets different class rivals to those in a maiden on the latter track though it wouldn't be a surprise to see him improve past most of these.
