Dermot Weld has won five of the last ten of these and though Eldama has ground to make up on official ratings we may not have seen the best of her yet. This hasn't been a great race for Ballydoyle and Vatican City, though mid-division in the Epsom Derby, hasn't made the expected progress. Could Be King makes a quick reappearance after a fair run in Listed company at Cork on Tuesday though was 3 lengths behind Current Option in a similar contest there in August. The latter disappointed at Naas a couple of weeks later so this looks destined for Jessica Harrington's ALBIGNA (NAP). A brilliant Group 1 winner at Longchamp at this time a year ago, she hasn't won in four starts subsequently but wasn't beaten far in the Group 1 Matron Stakes at Leopardstown and will be difficult to beat. Forever In Dreams is a very smart sprinter who hasn't proved herself over this trip.
