LADY HILLINGDON had little chance from her handicap mark in the Scottish Champion Hurdle at Ayr in April but ran remarkably well and would have been closer but for a mistake at the last. She makes her debut over fences here and will be difficult to beat if taking to the bigger obstacles. Our Symphony has plenty of experience over fences but looks vulnerable despite being at her best on fast ground and a bigger threat could emerge from Turf War. Michael Hourigan's six-year-old hasn't been seen since a cracking effort in a Grade 3 novice hurdle here in October but he's another who will thrive on the fast going and should make a decent chaser. Indian Spring was well beaten on his chasing bow at Limerick but should have benefited from the experience and though prolific flat and hurdles winner Ireland's Call can never be discounted he is making his chasing debut at a rather advanced age.
