Three-year-olds have an excellent record in this and Dermot Weld has won it four times in seven years so the lightly-raced Sorelle Delle Rose has to be considered despite a slightly disappointing run at Gowran after winning a handicap there. Silverkode's winning run came to an end in a premier handicap at Leopardstown but that was his best run to date and he can go well though PSYCHEDELIC FUNK should prove best of the younger brigade. His close third in a Group 2 at Leopardstown last month is the best recent form on view and though it was on good going he shouldn't be inconvenienced by this much softer ground. He was behind Flight Risk earlier in the season but Jim Bolger's charge hasn't made the expected progress and never got involved in a Group 3 at Naas a week ago when both Gordon Lord Byron and Downforce were ahead, though neither looked like winning and may have to give best to the youngsters.
