Paul Fahey's mare is making rapid progress and followed two decent runs on quick ground with her best effort so far when runner-up over three miles at Limerick where she was in the lead at this trip. Cadawill was a disappointing favourite that day and has now had eleven starts without winning but Mackey Boy enjoys testing ground so the more rain the better though he's yet to prove he stays this far. The Bach Road had shown potential on her handicap debut at Downpatrick and though well beaten here three weeks ago found the minimum trip much too short.
