Willie Mullins had half-a-dozen potential stars entered in this and relies on SHANESHILL. Last year's Punchestown Champion Bumper winner, he landed a Grade 2 over hurdles before failing to stay three miles in a Grade 1 back there in April and makes his eagerly-awaited debut over fences. Jessica Harrington won this last year and Walk To Freedom made an encouraging start over the bigger obstacles behind Outlander at Punchestown where he jumped well and stayed on nicely. Goulane Chosen, Chief Of Panama, Phil's Magic and Sir Abbot were all behind in that latter event and appear to have little chance of reversing the form. Casual Approach won a couple of minor races over timber but has always been more likely to make a chaser so he's one to keep an eye on for the future.
