Verdict

It's difficult to know what to make of Gordon Elliott's French recruit Toner D'Oudairies, who landed a version of a bumper in his native country in July. He'll certainly know his job and could prove useful. Total Reality showed promise on the Flat and on his hurdling bow behind Magical Memoir at Listowel when Fearless Falcon, who has improved subsequently, was a long way behind. Rusty Halo also did well enough behind Accidental Outlaw at Punchestown to suggest there are races in him and he may just reverse running with Alamanda, who had the benefit of previous experience. SARSFIELDS LEGEND had been running well on the level before a fair debut over timber at Killarney in August where he wasn't far behind Whisper Cool. The experience will not have been lost on him and this looks a decent opportunity.
