Skidroe Joe was having his first start for a year when landing a handicap at Tramore earlier this month but that was a very poor contest and a 6lbs rise won't help. However, this isn't much better despite it's higher band and it would be no great surprise to see him in the frame. QUALVIRO looked one to follow when beating a big field in a maiden hurdle at Punchestown a year ago but ran poorly on his two subsequent starts over fences. He looked in better shape on his reappearance at Gowran on the first day of this month and has enough scope to pay his way this season starting with this. The Paddy Premium is a little old to be starting a career over fences and fell on his debut before a reasonable effort at Down Royal in March. The Fox's Frolic is a prolific winner between the flags but he's shown nothing to date in four starts over regulation fences.
